Meet Mood Swings, a playful collection of expressive faces that capture those everyday moods we all know a little too well. From the wide-eyed grin to the unmistakable side-eye, each coaster brings its own personality to the table.

Set against rich brown-and-cream marble effects inspired by the swirls of coffee, tea and hot chocolate, these cheerful little characters are designed to bring a smile to your daily cuppa.

Perfect for coffee tables, home offices, kitchen counters or gifting to that friend whose facial expressions always give them away.

Four Moods. One Set.

Your set includes four different expressions and a matching handmade marble-effect coaster holder, keeping everything neatly together between coffee breaks.

Each coaster is hand-poured, carefully sanded and finished in London, taking approximately 6–7 days to create through multiple stages of curing and sealing.

Because even everyday essentials deserve a little personality.

How Your Coasters Are Made

Each piece goes through a slow, intentional process:

  • Hand-poured into its mould
  • Cured for 72 hours for strength and durability
  • Hand-sanded for detailing
  • Allowed to cure for a further 24 hours before sealing
  • Sealed to protect against moisture, heat and stains
  • Cured for a final 48 hours to allow the protective finish to develop. (Water and heat resistance).


This careful process ensures a refined finish and long-lasting piece that feels as good as it looks. In total, each piece takes 6-7 days to make.

Each coaster is made especially for you as soon as you place an order, which is why it takes us a bit longer to deliver it to you. 

Production Lead Time:

Please allow 6-7 business days for casting prior to shipping.

Currently only shipping within the UK. Shipping takes 2-5 business days. Customer service will be on call to keep you updated along the way.

Shipping is via Royal Mail 1st Class. Expedited shipping is available upon request. Email support@afribix.com before you order if interested in expedited shipping.

Care Instructions

Keep dry – Do not soak or submerge in water.

Easy to clean – Wipe gently with a clean, neutral-colour damp cloth.

Display thoughtfully – Place away from direct sunlight to preserve colour and shine.

Handle with care – Avoid dropping; this product may chip if mishandled. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasives.

Heat resistance - Suitable for everyday hot drinks, but not for extreme heat such as hot pans. If a mug feels stuck to the coaster, lift it gently rather than pulling.

What if I want a different colour?
