How to measure my waist
How to measure my waist
Getting the perfect fit for your waist beads is easy! Just follow these simple steps or watch this tutorial :
- Use a Soft Measuring Tape: A soft, flexible tape measure (like the one used for sewing) works best. If you don’t have one, no worries! You can use a string or piece of ribbon and then measure its length with a ruler.
- Find Your Waist: For waist beads, the best place to measure is where you naturally wear them. This is typically around your navel or slightly lower on your hips—whichever feels most comfortable and stylish for you. Make sure you’re standing up straight, relaxed, and measuring on bare skin for accuracy.
- Take the Measurement: Wrap the tape around your waist. Be sure it’s snug but not tight—comfort is key! The tape should be parallel to the ground and sit naturally against your skin.
- Add a Little Extra Room: If you want a looser fit, consider adding 1-2 inches (2-5 cm) to your measurement. For a more snug fit, stick with the exact measurement.
- Double-Check Your Measurement: It’s always a good idea to measure twice to be sure. If you're using a string, measure it against a ruler to get the exact length.
- Pick Your Waist Bead Size: Once you have your measurement, you’re ready to pick your waist bead size. For example, if your waist measures 34 inches, we suggest adding an inch for a comfortable fit, so your waist bead size would be 35 inches.

How to care for my waist bead
How to care for my waist bead
To ensure your waist beads last and continue to look beautiful, follow these simple care guidelines:
Twist the Clasp Securely
Always make sure the clasp is tightly twisted to prevent it from loosening while wearing. This ensures your waist beads stay secure and in place throughout the day.
Wear With Confidence
Our waist beads are designed to be worn comfortably in the shower, pool, or beach. However, remember to check the specific gemstones used in your waist beads to ensure they can get wet. Some gemstones may not be water-friendly and may require extra care.
Store in the Provided Packaging
When you're not wearing your waist beads, store them in the packaging we provide. This is designed to protect your beads and prevent any damage, keeping them looking fresh and fabulous. It’s the perfect solution to keep your waist beads safe from tangling or getting lost.
Avoid Harsh Chemicals
To keep your waist beads looking their best, avoid exposure to harsh chemicals such as perfumes, lotions, or cleaning agents. These can affect the appearance of the beads and gemstones over time.
Careful with Haste & Play
One of the most common ways waist beads break is when people are in a hurry—whether it's trying to quickly take off clothes or, shall we say, during more intimate moments with partners. We get it, things can get intense, but here’s a friendly reminder: move the waist beads out of the way before things get too heated! And, if they do happen to snap, remember to let your partner know that they’ll be covering the replacement fee (we won’t judge, but they owe you😉).
By following these best practices, your waist beads will continue to look stunning and last for a long time. Wear them with love, care, and a little bit of humor!
